The Gulfport Community Players wish to congratulate all of the winners and the nominees in this past year's productions. The committee had many difficult decisions to make. But they made them and we do hope you're happy with their choices.
Note: There were a few people that won that couldn't attend Saturday night, but, they will get their plaques regardless.
For all the people that didn't win, next year is a brand new year, so, try again!

The Cathy Committe had to put this
unique play in its own category. It completly sold out 11 of its 12 shows at
the Hickman Theater this past January.
We've never had a play do this! To top it off, this was a virturally unknown play that had never been performed before!
Written by Gil Perlroth, it was based on a book by Lynne Brown. These two got together and this play was the result.
The play was directed by Daniel Harris, with choregraphy and musical direction by Bill Bryant .
We have just learned that the Gulfport City Council has formally approved
Gulfport, My Home as the City's official song. This was just one of the songs from the play and it will be sung again at the July 4th Celebration in Gulfport.
There was no one person that stood out in the cast- they were all that good!
Consequently ALL the cast members got a 'Cathy Award for their efforts.
